Getting to know who you are and what you want through the process of comparison with the tulip bulb.
Can you envisage your core? How many layers are there surrounding you? How grounded are your roots? What are your potential colours? What do you want to become? Are you looking for something entirely new to embark upon or merely seeking the courage to take the next bold step in life?
Feeling energised and feeling happy often goes hand in hand. Discover how to find the energy you need to grow. It requires that you focus on yourself and discover parts of you that you may have either forgotten or were not aware of.
With TULIP TIME FOR YOU you get a start to rest, vitality, wisdom and love for yourself. Always present, but not always easy to achieve. Your heart knows how to have a happy life, but how do you reach your own heart?
TULIP TIME FOR YOU is a one-year process where a group of up to ten participants meet once a month, either at BacksjÖn or online. The choice of time is directly related to the stages of growth and rest which the tulip undergoes throughout a year. In springtime, the tulips will blossom and so will you!
Tulip time for you starts again in September 2018.
Time for planting
September-October is the time of year when we plant the bulbs. At this stage there are no roots so we focus on finding the best possible environment and conditions for the bulbs to develop. You will receive 10 bulbs to plant, symbolizing the beginning of your own parallel development process. As a group member your will be able to take part in awareness exercises with the aim of becoming increasingly attuned to what your body is telling you.
Time to set roots
In November the roots start growing if conditions are right. The bulbs you have planted will be nourished by the surrounding environment and well prepared for the winter ahead. Together in the group we will explore what makes us smile.
December – January
Time to rest
December-January is a time of rest. In order to blossom in the spring the bulbs now need a cold period, perhaps covered by a layer of protective snow. It is a peaceful time and in our group we will focus on relaxation and recuperation.
Time to grow
In February- March the bulbs begin to change as the starch (carbohydrates) in them is converted into sugar. When this occurs the leaves and buds gradually start sliding upwards from the bulb. At this stage you will feel creative. In the group we look at setting goals for the future.
Time to flower
In April-May the roots provide nourishment for the tulips to flower. The brown shell of the bulb is all that remains when the stored energy goes to the flowers in bloom. It is time for us to activate ideas and to feel the surge of new energy.
Time to regenerate
June-July is the time to remove the flowers so that only the stalks and leaves are left. New bulbs develop as nourishment is provided to them through the remaining leaves. In our group we grow to enjoy positive feelings which enable us to develop new ideas.
Time to multiply
In August up to five small bulbs can have formed out of the original bulb. And so the process begins once again. Our group looks back at the year gone by to take stock of events and plan the way forward for the coming year.
